Representing European and non-European companies of all sizes before the EPO and the French Patent Office, our Paris office is tightly integrated with the practices of the firm’s other offices so as to ensure an efficient, coordinated global approach. Our Paris office legal staff includes qualified European and French patent attorneys, thus allowing us to communicate directly with clients about European and French patent law in the three official languages of the EPO. Our European practice is comprehensive, with a particular focus on European opposition and limitation proceedings, European and French litigation support and strategy, European and French national patent prosecution, patent drafting, prior art searches and patent watch services, IP due diligence, patent education seminars and counseling to assist in the implementation of in-house IP strategies.

In 2022, the firm established its presence in the Middle East by opening an office in Dubai. From this strategic location, our Dubai team works closely with OBWB’s other seven global offices to provide seamless support and added value to our clients. Our Dubai practice includes brand protection and enforcement, labelling consultation, IP valuation, IP due diligence and IP audits, global watch and search services, registration of international trademark applications through the WIPO Madrid protocol system, as well as renewal and annuity services.
