Stuart  Higgins , Ph.D.

Stuart Higgins is a Ph.D., chemcial engineer skilled in drafting and prosecuting patent applications for a wide spectrum of global clients. In addition to his IP expertise, he also has extensive industrial experience in chemical processing, operations and process engineering in both the United States and China.

He patented a greenhouse-gas reduction chemical process which is being implemented at demonstration scale by Sinopec for the Shengli Oil Field Power Plant, in Shandong province, China.

His research has led him to engineer and develop advanced algorithms to optimize and automate complex simulations and procedural tasks. He has innovated symbolic computation and meta-programming techniques to dynamically recompile processes.

Prior to joining OBWB, Stuart was a process simulation consultant at his alma mater - Virginia Tech. He also founded his own start up, "Intentional Systems", an innovative project he continues to run and develop.
